BURLY RESIDENCES celebrates major milestone as ground is broken at luxury beachfront site

A significant construction milestone has been achieved at the $540 million Burly Residences in North Burleigh, with the turning of the first sod as bulk excavation machinery is now mobilised onsite marking the beginning of major earthworks for the landmark six-star residential tower.

This key breaking ground construction phase follows the successful completion of the diaphragm wall to the perimeter of the 2024 sqm double beachfront site, a vital retention system for the basement levels, enabling the commencement of full-scale excavation works on one of the Gold Coast’s most prestigious beachfront blocks at 264–268 The Esplanade, North Burleigh. Developer David Devine and his team at DD Living were joined onsite at Burly Residences by builder Gowdie Management Group (GMG) and luxury apartment marketing specialist, TOTAL Property Group to celebrate this milestone, which represents a major step forward in the delivery of the 25-level luxury tower that is transforming the exclusive North Burleigh foreshore.
